Considering playing around with nicotine for cutting and focused work tasks, specifically Nic Nac Naturals mints. Is there any level of frequency you’d recommend for use along with anything I should be supplementing with to offset any potential harm or damage that comes of it? My understanding is regardless i should aim to hit/slightly exceed all micronutrient goals, potentially include B1, make sure I’m getting plenty of choline, was also thinking niacin or Agmatine sulfate for endothelial damage.

Really depends on your risk tolerance & dedication to harm reduction. I have a sense you really want to play it safe. In that case, here's what I'd do:

- Probably set a cap at around 10mg per day

- Thiamine supplementation daily

- Choline and niacin are good calls, agmatine you could take or leave

- Monitor BP daily

- Explore microdosed tadalafil with a doctor

- Look into ubiquinol

- Make sure you're doing the bare minimum 30 mins of cardio 5x per week (most important)

I also have a hunch that regular oral BPC supplementation would be helpful

Is it important to eat organic fruits and veggies and grass fed beef/steak over non-organic and non-grassfed or is the difference de minimis?

Expand full comment
author

I believe that you should always eat organic as long as you can afford it

If you can't afford organic yet, eat the non-organic unprocessed foods but make it a goal to either increase income or clear up your budget for organic foods

The pesticides, herbicides, exogenous hormones, synthetic nutrients, etc are taking a toll on our health in many ways and its best to avoid when humanly possible

Can you pls expand on the issue with whey protein? You mentioned that egg protein powder would be better but even that you don't use regularly?

Would you recommend Skyr? It's real food (which I think is an important factor here) but a bit whey like I believe. Ty

Protein powders digest too quickly, especially whey

When your blood gets saturated with aminos that quickly, you end up converting a good amount to glucose so it doesn't get used for muscle building

The solution I found to this was to consume a quarter to half a scoop per hour instead of slamming a full scoop at once.

Ok Ty. I could just make 1 scoop mix in the morning with my magnesium and creatine together and drink it gradually the whole day.

Out of a gym for a bit. How would you program Calisthenics to continue building size and strength?

I'd get a weight vest for weighted pull ups, chin ups, pushups, squats, and burpees. I'd also find a way to do nordic curls.

Try bands too. Do full body slow reps, 8 seconds down and 8 up to failure. Do this 3 days a week. I recommend squats, shoulder presses, and chest presses. All you need is a couple bands from Amazon and a railing to tie them to. Then look up some exercises on YouTube. It's definitely full body, though.

All of the following is in Minecraft: 210mg test weekly (administered as 30mg daily) for the last 9 weeks, pushed the bulk too far (17%).

Bloods just came back Estradiol 85.2 pg/ml. Coach is recommending 12.5mg aromasin daily, does daily seem too frequent or dose seem high? Just looking for second non-medical opinion

Hey man!

I've broken my toe. Are there any foods / supplements / micronutrients I should be maxxing for a speedy recovery?

Thanks!

Expand full comment

Yeah, you'll want at least your RDA of calcium and a 1:1 ratio with magnesium. I'd try to get all the micronutrients in the RDA range at least.

Protein at 1g+ per lb is super important, because no. Bones are not made out of protein. However, the amino acids in protein activate mTOR and switch on the growth/healing processes in the body. BPC has been shown in studies to help as well.

My wife is 46, still gets a monthly cycle, but has some serious brain fog and fatigue, her memory has depleted compared to what it used to be, all in the last year. She is heathy and exercises on a regular basis. Any suggestions on supplements?

Expand full comment
author

This is a tough questions because there's so much more I don't know, but there's definitely some low hanging fruit.

Brain fog & fatigue almost always means inflammation & excess glutamate

Magnesium glycinate supplement at 500-1000mg per day spread throughout usually helps

Lion's Mane extract before bed tends to help a lot with brain inflammation and restoration

CDP Choline is shown to be excellent for memory

Nigella Sativa Oil (preferably oil but the capsules from ND are better than nothing) is nothing short of a miracle supp

Bacopa Monieri is another easy one to consider

Other than that, perhaps a good B complex?

BPC 157 to help heal broken collar bone? Any other peptides good for healing broken bones faster

BPC has been shown to improve bone healing in studies

That's probably the main peptide for that, although something like a tesamorelin or cjc could help a bit

Also should I cycle tribugen? Great results this far. Thank you

It depends

You can cycle if you feel like it's no longer helping you, you can take it infrequently if you want more of an acute effect, or you could take it daily. Up to you :)

Around 850ng total T, but about 14ng free T (about 1.5%) - and have read free T *could* be as high as 5% total.

High SHGB and DHEA low end of reference.

Have a pet theory this is why Tribugen "doesn't work" for me.

Any tips to increase Free T - am already taking 10mg Boron, and 1.5g elemental magnesium, and GABA-maxxing supps. Sleep is good, sunlight is good. Don't drink or smoke.

Over the past few days I've been going down the circadian rhythm rabbit hole, fascinating stuff.

I want to follow your dopamine reset stack and take 9-mc-bc, but given how important sunlight is in overall health and recovery I'm not sure what the best way to approach this is.

Average day looks like this:

I'm very fortunate that with my backdoor open at this time of year, i can sit there and get direct sunlight exposure from around 7am-11am so I've been working from a foldable camping table most days instead of being fully indoors.

I also do my AM cardio (30-60min around 5:30am) outside instead of the gym and I then get a midday walk in and/or work outside If i can. I also get a 30min+ walk in in the evenings.

I understand that it's supposed to make you more sensitive to the sun but with the amount of sunlight exposure I'm trying to get in, how would you approach this personally if you had a similar schedule?

I'm not sure if the benefits I'm getting from the sunlight exposure would be more beneficial and just take the stack minus the 9me or if I should tone down the light exposure at peak UV times (say uv index 3+) for a given number of days/weeks while taking 9me and if so what adjustments to make to light exposure and how long I should do this for etc. So many question on this topic haha.

As always, really appreciate your help and guidance.

Expand full comment
author

This is where there's no best answer because it's not well researched

Personally I'd prefer to do it in the winter, when UV exposure is limited by default

However, if one had to experiment in the summer

Perhaps making sure you are already tan maxed and limiting exposure to around 30min a day (maybe some zinc oxide sun screen as well) would be all it takes

I have a hunch this is correct, but again it's just a hunch

I did a short cycle of tesofensine (30 days at 250mg pd with a deficit between 500 and 1000 cal) and it was pretty effective: are there safety concerns and/or other supplements that would improve it's safety/efficacy?

Expand full comment
author

Yeah, not a fan of tesofensine at all.

Too many potential side effects (think of everything associated with SSRIs + more) and interactions

I'd much prefer semaglutide /tirzepatde + fat burner like yohimbine or ephedrine

What’s your take on supplementing with fish oil? Worth it or worthless?

Would taking 25mg anadrol sublimgually 1x per week without any other substances be significantly suppressive?

Expand full comment
author

Yea not a good idea longterm lol

Half life is 9 hours so it will stay in your system for a couple days

The suppression would be gradual, but week by week you would get more and more suppressed

Think about it for a second

Before you're fully reset and HPTA is realigned, it's already next week and you're spiking your bloodstream with exogenous androgens again

Not good.
