Whats your take on my blood results in terms of no improvements despite loosing lots of fat and incorporating things like mg maxing, boron etc. , and how could I improve the values besides what i already do?

Went from 17%+ BF to under 10% since March (profile pic, now a little more since i ve been in slight surplus for past 2 months)

Test is even down than before, estradiol is exactly the same ( though right after the cut it was 21.8 ). Still struggle with lower libido than few years ago - no porn + almost no fap for almost a year.

8+ hours of sleep/day, gym 4x week, cardio, 1-2 competition sport/ week (tennis, hockey), 12-15k steps.

Daily 1g MG (elemental), 50mg zinc, 10mg Boron (non elemental) and for past 3 months tribulus (4500mg), daily sunlight (bit less past 2 weeks bcz of the weather), lots of dietary fats, dont smoke or do drugs, alcohol very occasionally, BPA/plastic elimination for years.

AGE: 29

TEST: 585 (before 609)

SHBG: 45 (before 44)

ESTRADIOL: 32 (before 31)

LH: 4.31 iu/l
FSH: 2.94 ỉu/l

Okay so test is in 500s but estradiol is 32? Wow! Normally I'd say "there's no way ur 10% bodyfat bro" but I see your profile picture so I believe you

32 e2 would be normal/optimal if your test was around 1000, so you're aromatizing about twice as much as you should, especially considering low bf

The low androgen to estrogen ratio would explain why test is in 500s and LH is pretty low 2, as you know from my Testosterone Optimization guy that the HPTA operated on a negative feedback loop where estradiol limits the secretion of gonadotropins

Several things could be going on here, you need more bloods

I'd want to see a cortisol dutch test as its likely you have chronically elevated cortisol, which could be upregulating aromotase and increasing prolactin. Prolactin is another one you'd want to look at as high prolactin could be responsible for the low libido

CMP/CBC would be good too, systemic inflammation and liver issues could be upregulating hepatic aromatase expression

Other than that, you should be checking DHT on every blood test as we now know that that's the REAL androgen we want to optimize and it should never be less than a 10:1 test to DHT ratio

Since zinc supp, diet seems to be in check i'd start there

Thanks for the insights. I ll get those test and I ll get back to you.

About DHT, yeah I know but unfortunatelly I didnt find any leab where I live that do DHT test :/

What locations do you use to inject GHK for hair loss?

was recently diagnosed with ADHD. psych wrote me a prescription for 5mg IR adderall once per day.

I have read a lot of doomer media about amphetamine usage and am scared about long term effects on my mental health, dopamine receptors, heart, etc.

obviously I will listen to the medical professional advising me, but wondering if you have any recommendations for people with ADHD for safe and sustainable amphetamine usage, in terms of drug choice, dosage, frequency, etc. I have been getting by in life without medicating, so I feel like a very slow approach (e.g. take meds once per week on high-intensity days) titrating up as needed would work best, but still curious to hear your take. I know you have written about ADHD in the past, but can't seem to locate that - maybe it was just a long tweet and not an article.

Looking forward to his answer on this…

I saw you were saying something about how oral l-carnitine tmao is kind of bs. If I were to take oral l-carnitine how much grams should I take per day and how do you go about dosing it for the best results?

Expand full comment

The way I've found oral L-Carnitine to be most effective is 1,000mg 5x per day

Eat 4 meals and take 1000mg with each meal plus 1 dose of l carnitine before lift or cardio

Expand full comment

Do you cycle oral L-Carnitine or is it taken every day during a cut?

Expand full comment

I take it daily during a cut

Or I'd take it daily during a fertility optimization protocol

It can be taken longterm if there's a reason for it

Expand full comment

Is it okay to take it during a bulk, if AR density is the goal?

It could be worth a shot to see how you respond

How did phenibut get the label as a nootropic ?

And is there a risk management protocol that can be used for those who want to take it.

Expand full comment

It shouldn't be labeled as a nootropic, but people also have different definitions of the word nootropic

I don't recommend taking phenibut. I've found that when DHT is high enough, the GABAergic neurosteroid metabolites put you in a state that resembles all the positive benefits of phenibut without the downsides

that said, I wouldn't use it more than once a month. twice MAX. seriously. hard fucking line that should not be crossed. ever.

Yea it’s either the worst drug ever or for some it’s been truly beneficial

Expand full comment

Where can someone get dht to be able to get those phenibut like benefits.

And when you say 2 times max is this regardless of dose?

Expand full comment

Yeah regardless of dose, high doses should be avoided entirely

Get a dht prescription from a doctor i don't discuss sourcing for controlled substances

Is there really any worry if I inject primarily in my stomach in terms of scar tissue? I seem pretty sensitive in other areas of the body. I am only inject 3 - 4 times a week but would like to up that number at times to run more things.

My testosterone is 1558 my estradiol is 58. I feel great except for anxiety and sleeping is being disturbed. I'm assuming these are due to high estrogen. Is there a way to keep the benefits of high test while lowering my estrogen without using an A.I. ?

Expand full comment

Are you a fan of cold plunges? Primary goal is to currently raise Testosterone and DHT but want to start doing cold exposure in the ocean this winter. If this has a negative impact on T and DHT however, I won’t do it.

When I fast I feel normal… my ADHD like symptoms are gone, I can actually think and regulate my thoughts and emotions so much better. I truly feel like my authentic self. Although the fasting helps incredibly well, what else can I do that mimics this same positive result as fasting provides me?

What are some good alternatives to 9-me-bc in your opinion? I know you’ve discussed beta-carbolines in tweets but wondering what has worked for you in the past.

Why shouldn't someone (everyone) administer topical DHT, like what would the risk factors be on your natural hormones? Can't seem to find info specifically on this.

HPTA shut down above certain dosage thresholds. Transferring to women and children

Expand full comment

Thanks. I've heard about the fears of transferring, but not the shut down of HPTA. Will have to look into that.

When you ran it, were you running specific bloods to ensure you weren't nearing that dose of shutdown?

Expand full comment

No, I was shut down haha. It's not a problem if you are taking exogenous testosterone and/or hcg

Is it 100% guaranteed that everybody aromatizes less on short esters like prop compared to longer esters like enanthate?

Yes. Shorter esters are less fatsoluble

Re: Citrus Bergamot

I know it's advised to take 30min pre meal, but for the life of me I can never consistently remember (been trying for months) before I eat. Do you think benefits are still nearly as good if taken post food (with lycopene/garlic/berberine combo), or am I better off just not bothering? Cheers ledge.

Hahahaha who recommended that? It doesn't matter

Shweet. Have seen it in various sources - with the narrative being that if you've digested it ahead of time it will have an attenuating effect of blood sugar response etc.

I'm too lazy to look into your explanation of its mechanism of action, so I'm more than happy enough for this short and sweet "it's fine" reply 😂

Actually I miss-remembered the elements of the narrative which includes 'reduces lipid absorption in the gut' among other things.

Turns out I can't paste a couple of screenshots I snapped here, but here's a couple of different places fwiw:
