Formulating a supplement right now for Ecom Biz and would like to hear your thoughts on formulation. Would you be willing to discuss via X or via consultation?

It would be awesome to see a post around the different types of diets and the instances where it would make most sense to do them. could also go well with the Ultimate Guide to Nutrition post

Can I take rhodiola rosea daily without it losing its effectiveness? And should I cycle on and off it?

Thanks!

The extract might lose its effectiveness so I'd keep it to 3-4 days per week, but whole herb rhodiola stays just as effective when used daily in my experience so do that if you're willing to drink tea

For TRT, I think I saw that you prefer Prop over Enan/Cyp and called Prop "king." Historically, I have used Enan/Cyp and pin EOD frequency. Prop has some benefits and been considering the switch. I understand much of it is personal preference, but do you view Prop as clearly better? Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!

Prop is king because it converts to more dht, less e2, and minicks the diurnal rhythm better

Perfect. The same reasons I was considering it. Appreciate having more control and potential for less water retention as well. Will give it a go. Thanks man.

You recommend High intensity cardio for DHT maxxing

What’s the best way to do high intensity cardio on a cycling machine?

Like how many minutes?

Expand full comment
author

Sprints are way better

Also powerlifting is even better than sprints (compound movements for 1-5 reps)

But if you're gonna do bike then time depends on you... You really can't sustain max effort for more than 15 seconds and you need 1-2 mins rest in between max effort sets

So idk basic beginner workout would be 5 min zone 2 warmup, 15 seconds MAX effort, 90 second rest, repeat 10 times

You said “Strength training 2-3x per week on non HIT cardio days”

That’s why I thought HIT cardio and powerlifting can’t replace each other

Can I ask what’s your weekly training schedule?

No they can't. Just making sure you know :)

Currently I am not training at all because of my injury, but when I get back I think I'm gonna do a fully body 5, 3, 1 split 3x per week

I have testosterone level of 986ng/dl but an oestradiol level of 191pmol/l. Is there any way to bring my oestradiol down? Assuming it’s down to a high level of aromatase but I am unsure.

I've seen in some of your other Q&As that you recommend cycling injectable BPC. What would that cycle look like?

What range are optimal thyroid levels? Does it differ for everyone? My T3 is 2.3pg/ml and TSH .55uiU/ml. I’ve been taking a mix of T3/T4 to see if it would give me more energy.

Expand full comment

Depends? I mean surely you see the reference range on your lab work so you have an idea. T3 and T4 you'd probably wanna be on the upper and TSH obviously lower. Are you hypothyroid or are you just messing around with hormones because if it's the latter I suggest you just correct micronutrient deficiencies, do cardio, get lots of sun and see where you're at

Just messing with to see if energy would go up. Thanks for the reply

When taking HGH, you usually recommend taking it before morning fasted cardio? What if you’re only doing fasted cardio 3-4x a week. On the days you aren’t performing fasted cardio do you recommend taking it before or bed or maintaining morning frequency for consistency?

I do IM before bed on non fasted cardio days. It doesn't matter

I've had low T symptoms for a long time and recently got tested.

total: 345 ng/dl

free: 78.7 pg/mL

LH: 7.5 IU/L

FSH: 2.5 IU/L

e2: 16.0 pg/mL

I'm not the leanest, probably around 18-20% body fat, would getting down below 12% make that much of a difference or are the LH and FSH in too bad of shape for it to make that large of a difference? Are there any supps that could help raise FSH levels?

LH isn't bad at all. LH is what makes your testosterone, not FSH. Yes, getting to a true 12% bodyfat makes a big difference. You're eating in excess, and most likely processed foods, leading to insulin resistance and excessive reactive oxygen species. Your testicles are in bad shape due to this and other lifestyle factors and aren't responding to LH. Moreover, more bodyfat= more test to estrogen conversion. Have you learned yet that you should be measuring DHT? Is your phone/laptop near your balls all day? Stop that. Get a faraday bag/laptop case. Start icing your balls. Hows your sunlight exposure? Take your skin type into consideration. Not enough melanin/melatonin and you're asking for every system in your body to fail. There's so much here I can't begin to cover it all, and you asked more than 1 question so follow the rules, but I wrote a guide that covers everything here https://bowtiedbiohacker.com/p/the-ultimate-guide-to-testosterone

What are optimal estrogen levels? Does it differ for everyone? Mine just came back with a level of 44pg/ml. Testosterone is 911. I don’t have any high estrogen symptoms.

It differs for everyone but typically 30s-40s when test is 900+ so you're fine
