If you had a 6 year old child who'd just finished a course of antibiotics for an infection, what would you do to help restore their gut microbiome? diet, supplements and anything else you can think of that might help.

I'd give them psyllium (prebiotic), probiotic foods like kefir, sour kraut, greek yogurt, kimchi, etc, and a post biotic like sodium butyrate. Perhaps a little glutamine thrown in the kefir shake with some blended fruit.
