Hey there, new here!

As you're also familiar with dr. Jack Kruse's work, you'll be aware that he's absolutely against supplementation of any kind for optimal health.

He compares it to putting dirt in NVIDIA's semiconductor factory as we are also made out of semiconductors, hence supplementation would change the doping.

Your previous Q&As and your work seem to include a lot of questions about supplements, so I wonder what your comments are on Dr. Jack Kruse's thoughts.

And if you allow a bonus question for newcomers: what is / are your top tip(s) to get rid of belly fat? (Going to read your the rest of your work shortly)

I you wanted verbal fluency maxing - what would be your protocol/lifestyle hacks etc.

It’s not an issue of vocabulary for me, but mostly the fact that I spend 70%+ of time in english speaking environments and I feel I lack that verbal fluency in my main language.

Fluency isn’t just about vocab - it’s about speed, precision, emotion-mirroring, and switching registers on command. If your brain’s been running English OS 70%+ of the time, your native language hardware is slowly getting deactivated. Here's how I'd max it:

Start every day with 10–15 min shadowing: pick a fast-paced, emotionally dynamic speaker (interviews, debates, podcasts) and mimic word-for-word in real time. It rewires pronunciation, rhythm, and processing speed. Translate your own thoughts back into your native language in real time - stream-of-consciousness style journaling or voice memos help. Switch your phone, apps, and keyboard to your native language. Read fiction, poetry, and substack-tier writing in that language daily - aim for emotional vocabulary and metaphor, not academic stiffness

Hey BTBio

My social anxiety go pretty wild when I go out to bars. I get fidgety and easily distracted, which forces shallow conversations. A small hit of weed wipes it out completely - I get curious, chatty, and simply unworried about my surroundings which opens up this window to deeper conversations and relationships. I don't like to rely on it though

I've tried Ashwagandha + L-theanine, and it dulls out the social anxiousness a bit, but has nowhere near the effect of a small hit of weed.

I rip 30min of Z2 4-5x/week, lift heavy 2-3x. Bloods in check with high T (not natty). Currently on keto, maybe 18% body fat (the slightest visibility of abs in the right light, unflexed).

I would imagine low-dosing phenibut could help, though I've seen mentions of only taking this 1-2x/month or so. Is it still something worth exploring, or are there other compounds that could have a similar effect of eliminating anxiety as marijuana tends to do?

You're describing a classic GABAergic mismatch under pressure: ambient stress from sensory noise + dopamine-GABA imbalance = DMN hyperactivity and conversational scatter. Weed works by crushing that with CB1 agonism, GABAergic tone, and serotonin modulation - but it has a price long term (redox hit, melanin degradation, dopaminergic dulling).

If you get your DHT up, all of these problems are solved: GABA/GlyR signaling upregulation and cortisol downregulation.

Phenibut is not the answer. It'll move the goal post further via GABA B and dopamine downregulation. It's addictive, and not good for you. DHT is endogenous phenibut and more.

L-theanine at a gram+, taurine at 2g+ magnolia bark extract, and B4 are all much healthier alternatives

The context you gave around these GABAergic dynamics were very helpful and insightful - appreciate you taking the time

Parkinson’s meds (e.g., L-DOPA, dopamine agonists) work by replacing or mimicking dopamine, but they don’t fix the underlying energy collapse that causes neuron death. Daily AM sunlight (eyes and skin bare) to noon sunlight to restore POMC and mitochondrial light signaling, plus red light to the forehead and brainstem. nnEMF and artificial light must be removed - ground barefoot 20+min/day, use red/amber lights only after sunset. Add magnesium chloride (oral + topical), black seed oil, lion’s mane, DHEA and pregnenolone. BPC-157 and Pinealon are peptides of interest. Fix the gut (cut out grains, seed oils, sweeteners, processed shit, add kefir, bone broth, sauerkraut Then train - resistance work, cold exposure, and cycling/walking.

That's crushing your DHT via the 5AR-Dopamine-Prolactin axis. There's nothing worse for DHT than gooning.

Take some BPC to balance out your dopamine cravings and do the dopamine reset protocol + strong lifts + cold exposure.

There's really no secret other than one day you decide that you're tired of being a victim and want to ascend. You decide you want to become superhuman.

You could also crush e2 to remove the urge, but this isn't healthy and might not actually solve the underlying spiritual issue that caused the habit in the first place

Started the inj 500mcg bpc157 daily,do it around 7pm,noticed every next morning for next couple of hours way more fatigued then usual.Something to counteract?

Searches of peer-reviewed reviews that summarise almost three decades of BPC-157 work list its antidepressant-like effects in forced-swim and chronic-unpredictable-stress models, but none of the cited experiments measured plasma corticosterone (the rodent equivalent of cortisol) or adrenal output. Neither the large 2021 nor 2016 review of central-nervous-system actions reports any direct modulation of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, glucocorticoid receptor signalling, or circulating cortisol/corticosterone concentrations

I'd try pinning early in the am, but I'm pretty sure it's unrelated if you're taking real BPC. That's the thing. You never know what you're getting if you use those research sites that just whitelable chinese wholesale peptides lmao

Trying to speed up recovery from years of cheap dopamine addiction (and if possible, reverse some of the damage from narcotics a decade ago.)

Thinking executive and cognitive function.

I'm following all the diet, exercise, sun-maxxing, etc that you teach and what's in this article:

https://bowtiedbull.io/p/biohacker-guest-post-on-neuroplasticitybrain

Hardly take any supplements though because I struggle to get the dose right (makes me feel less focused etc, no benefit)

I know you've recommended Semax & Cereb before, what about P21 and/or Adamax?

Best to stick with good old Semax/Cereb or would you go a different approach since the above article was made?

BowTied Biohacker's avatar

Check out the light environment guide. I promise that will do more than any of those peptides. Adamax is great btw if it's legit. Wouldn't rely on cere anymore knowing what we know now.

Hey BTB, my dad is 179cm/105kg, probaby insulin resistant from childhood (lots of PUFA)

Doesn’t eat more than 2500 calories but stores lots of belly fat, despite being relatively lean in legs and arms

What is the reason of this type of fat storage

Expand full comment
BowTiedShmedium's avatar

Insulin resistance for sure. The visceral fat storage pattern is the default in men due to higher androgens (women default to subcutaneous fat/hips/thighs unless PCOS/insulin resistant)
