What’s your preferred dosage / cycle for MK-677. 190lbs Male

Expand full comment

I'm not the biggest fan of MK-677 cycles outside of a few use cases. The water retention and insulin resistance is going to be greater than that of an equivalent HGH dose. Not to mention the potential prolactin & anxiety issues you can experience. High BP & the Michelin Man look isn't fun!

It's a great compound if used correctly and you go into it knowing you're not going to get anything close to steroid-like muscle gains.

Why? You're probably not going to achieve supraphysiological IGF-1 levels with just MK-677; it'll be equivalent to an "anti-aging" dose of HGH (roughly 1-2 ius)

You can expect better sleep, better skin, and better recovery though. It's not going to be directly anabolic like an 8-10iu+ bodybuilding dose of HGH.

If appetite is a rate limiting factor in your bulk, then it could be useful because it will make you ravenous. I like to use it occasionally on days where my appetite is low to make hitting my calories easier. This is also the Another instance where I'd prefer it to HGH is in an "eggplant" enlargement protocol, which I'll discuss later this week.

That said, if I was going to cycle, I'd stick with a low dose like 10-12.5mg, eat super clean, go low-ish carbs to keto, take berberine , drink extra water, maintain a 2:1 potassium to sodium ratio, get a gram plus of magnesium per day, drink a gallon+ per day, and monitor blood pressure. I probably wouldn't run it for more than 12 weeks at a time. If you do it right, you should drop some of the initial water bloat around week 3 or 4.

Thanks! If I have Metformin is the Berberine necessary? At that dose will it help with body comp at all ? (ie. lose body fat) Is there anything you recommend instead of MK-677 to raise growth hormone?

Expand full comment

No, they both pretty much do the same thing. CJC + Ipa or tesamorelin would probably be better for recomp, but don't overestimate the results of HGH. It's marginal at best. 95% of gains/fat loss will still come from your diet and training. AOD is another one to look into. 5 Amino 1MQ is a decent addon if there's money to blow.

Is 5 Amino 1MQ a waste while in a caloric surplus/bulking phase?

You could take advantage of the energy boost it provides & perhaps put on a little less fat

Hello, not regretting subscription to your substack ! I read somewhere that ice cream after dinner is good for gains ? (Assumptioms: 160 lbs 33 year male, have met 1lb/1gm protein requirement)

Expand full comment

1.25g/lb is even better in my experience. I dont see the point to ice cream, unless it's protein ice cream made with the ninja creami

Big dick stack still coming?

You have any opinion or experience with kanna? Am enjoying this new extract from Nootropic Depot

Peptides to take when on a cut to maintain muscle. Dosage, timing and source would be great.

Expand full comment

I'm not going BS you and sell you the dream that taking peptides is going to give you sick gains so I can make a quick buck. No peptide out there is going to help preserve muscle to a significant extent. The only compounds that effectively do this are anabolic steroids. They'll help marginally at best, by getting your igf-1 to the upper part of the reference range, and maybe burn a little extra fat.

If you're rich, maybe a little tesamorelin, cjc & ipamorelin, or AOD with 5 amino 1MQ to burn a little extra fat. But 95% of the results will come from your caloric deficit and keeping protein high (1.25g/lb of bodyweight+)

Ultimate Libido/Sensation Stack?? 😏

For fun, not to reverse conditions

Expand full comment

PT-141 for libido and Oxytocin for sensitivity. Maybe a little tadalafil in there for extra fun.

Chronic cold hands and feet, especially with stimulant use.

Outside of increasing Zone 2 cardio which I already do. How could I fix this?

Hi champ, I have a question, what stack do you recommend for hyperhidrosis, now in the winter period is also accompanied by cold feet and hands. Hyperhidrosis is rather on a nervous basis, although during sports activities I also sweat more than others. 24 years old, healthy man

Hey, I ordered some bromantane. From limitless. What's is the dosage you would recommend?

I am 220 lbs 6 ft 2 lean, male.

Also are there any other key supplements. I tried semax but it just gave me a nasty headache.

I had been taking adderall & I am struggling with my productivity. I want to stop but im useless without it.

Right now for my brain I take a high dha fish oil, lots of vitd. I try to keep the adderall to 3-4 days a week though.

Any help appreciated !

Thank you

Hacker. Question that occured to me only now...

Any opinion on DXM?

Theres debate online on whether moderate recreational doses (not the hardcore trippers lol) are therapeutic/neuroprotective, or mildly excitotoxic.

OXYTOCIN -What’s your dosing recommendation for oxytocin and what’s your go to source for buying it?

PT-141 - do you prefer to inject or inhaling?

Thoughts on if there’s a a real benefit to eating right after a workout vs 2+ hours after one?

Expand full comment

You're a little more insulin sensitive after a workout, so post workout meals may help you add a little extra lean mass vs fat mass on a long timefram

Do you use any spreadsheet templates to log/track blood and metabolic tests results, peptide schedules, etc.? Also curious how frequently you get bloods done? Thank you!

Expand full comment

I go through quest diagnostics so you get charts & graphs of your historical results

I usually get bloods at least once every 3 months

How often do you fast? I’ve been thinking about adding in a longer fast each month outside of a typical 13 hour fast between dinner and breakfast. Happy thanksgiving!

Usually once a month for 48 hours

Things to consider when taking enclomiphene every third day(12.5mg), any supplements to add or things to look out for to make sure things are working appropriately?

Expand full comment

Why every 3rd day instead of a lower dose every day for stable serum concentrations?

Calcium D Glucarate & DIM may help woth estradiol management, since enclomiphene will induce lots of aromatization. AI is needed by many

I'm just not a fan of using enclomiphene as a T booster. It has its place in PCT & fertility, but the sides like visual disturbances, blood clotting, liver enzyme elevation can accumulate over time

Not worth it imo. HCG will yield the same or better testosterone boosting results without those sides.

Hey man, love the content. Thinking about jumping on 2.5mg of taladafil as per what you mentioned on your stack. I am 23 male, healthy etc - wondering if there was any long term considerations for that?

Also recently discovered i have hashimoto’s and so been on thyroxine for that - any wild peptides to cure that?😂

Expand full comment

23 is pretty young, most clinics won't prescribe to under 25. The evidence out shows that it's pretty innocuous at low dosages, but great for heart, kidneys, and prostate. This is a conversation for you and your doctor. Do you have any reason to add it in? Is your blood pressure, heart rate, and bloodwork all good? If yes, maybe revisit this idea in a few years.

Also, no peptides that I am aware of can *cure* hashimoto's. One might see some improvements on Thymosin Alpha 1 or Selank as they have immunomodulatory properties, but the best thing to do is to take the thyroxine from your doctor and dial in nutrition: full RDAs of micronutrients, especially iodine and selenium, avoiding inflammatory foods, and getting sufficient Omega 3's.

Read into blue light exposure for that. Managed to reverse my gfs hypothyroidism

interesting! My only thinking would be that since Hashi's is a autoimmune condition, reversing it may be different to hypo but i'll look into that for sure!
