2) I recently got Vit D test and I’m slightly deficient. I’m shocked. I got a lot of sun during summer and I always get super tan (without burning). If I'm in the sun I'm the type that get's completely bronzed and I do 10k+ steps daily in the sun during the summer. Could colder weather already be the cause since I’m not outside?
Anabolic hormones exert anabolic / anticatabolic effects through many pathways. They attach to AR in the the muscle cells and increase the ability to create new proteins while decreasing the ability to let go of protein. They also block cortisol, which is known for facilitating glucose release, fat storage, and muscle breakdown. Because of this you not only partition nutrients better, you get to eat MORE & build MORE, all while breaking down less muscle and using more fat for energy 😎
You are the skin type that needs more sun than pale people / people who burn. 10k steps outside may not be enough. Supplemental sun lamps (according to science) & even a lil tanning bed use (in my non science ) based opinion) is preferable to vitamin d supplementation. But I also like to supplement with cod liver oil which has a decent amount of Viit A and D in it.
