Hair Loss protocol:

Is there a difference between injection of GHK-Cu and topical use?

Expand full comment

They're the same for hair loss but the injectable will give you full body benefits too

Hi, do you know of anything supplement or dietary wise that can help with jaundice from Gilbert’s Syndrome?

Thanks!

Expand full comment

this is a question for your doctor, but if I had Gilbert's syndrome I'd focus on liver detox pathways, so: NAC, TUDCA, black seed oil, and inositol

Also make sure I'd have no vitamin or mineral deficiencies and try to eat a more low carb/keto diet

What are the best ways to increase hunger? I am trying to put on some weight and am working on 4-5 times a week but it seems that i struggle to eat enough food.

Expand full comment

I mean the easy answer is MK-677, but that will cause some side effects haha

If you have trouble eating, I always found a shake made from kefir, protein powder, banana & oats is a good way to start first thing in the morning to spike insulin and get the digestive system going

Sushi rice instead of regular rice is another good hack because it digests very quickly, making you hungry again sooner, and is more calorie dense

Where does injectable L-Carnitine sit in terms of 5AR up-regulation?

Expand full comment

What do you mean?

Expand full comment

Does it help in up-regulating 5AR?

Expand full comment

It upregulates AR so it'll give you the feeling of more DHT even though you won't have more DHT

Potentially hard one:

How could a person take a very powerful level stimulant like an amphetamine on an indefinite basis without getting burned out?

What’s a good sleep protocol for a guy with Parkinson’s (stage 1)?

He’s tried magnesium acetyl taurate, glycine, taurine, l theanine

Im suspecting it’s a spasticity issue for him

His deep sleep score is pretty fucked (less than 20 min per night)

I mean that's usually when the doctors prescribe something like a caber or prami and it helps

Grim's easy journey + mulungu + blue lotus would probably do the trick though

How do i build that big “barrel” type body that a lot of combat athletes have? Like Gervonta Davis and Nicky Rod. Guessing it’s just neck, lats, and a ton of core work (on top of being generally muscular elsewhere)

Expand full comment

I'm not really seeing it. You don't have to lift weights to look like those guys, but it can help to do some heavy deadlifts as those hit the neck/lats/core a ton. Those physiques are mostly just the result of being lean and doing a bunch of fast twitch work like mma training.

IBS protocol?

Expand full comment

oh boy. this is an entire huge post hahaha and it still depends on the individual. most general protocol, I guess would be:

1) clear everything out with a bunch of mag citrate

2) fast for 3 days

3) STRICT carnivore diet for a while, absolutely NO dairy, alcohol, coffee, artificial sweeteners

4) oral BPC (obviously) & KPV 4x day

5) slowly introduce other foods back in to identify which ones cause inflammatory response and avoid those

Any suggestions for allergies: causes/solutions/are antihistamines ok?

Some info: 26F has had terrible allergies her second year in Sydney. Started in March, never had allergies before in North America. They stopped when she went away for 2 months and started again when she got back to Sydney just now.

Looking back on what you know about DHT. Will you ever get back on exo? Or cause of the uptick in 5AR are you going for natty production? I’ve been off exo DHT for about 2-3 weeks and even tho I feel it a bit, feels like I’m leaving something on the table.

Expand full comment

I will probably reintroduce a very small dose like 20mg molar DHT per week, but I've gotten some great 5AR upregulation and have a natty ~6.5:1 ratio

Keep in mind, I was already pretty high DHT before exo (8.5:1) because of all the fast twitch training I've done for years

Myself + others have noted that it's often easier to work after sleep deprivation (doing an all-nighter then working into next day, working after 24+ hours awake type deal, etc)

Someone who tweeted about this (wish I could find it) says it's because they are ADHD - I don't believe I am ADHD, but I notice this phenomenon too

Wondering if you know what or why this could be OR how to replicate it supplementally (idk what to ask exactly as maybe it's just, being tired = less energy = eaier to sit and work? idk)

Thanks - and sorry if it's hard question to answer

This is the magic of high cortisol

Except not really, because if you do this often you'll mess with your adrenal function and feel chronically fatigued and brain fogged :)

If you want to do it the right way (my preference) it's the boring and hard stuff: 1) clean diet with all vitamins and minerals accounted for 2) plenty of sunlight 3) plenty of aerobic and anaerobic exercise 4) optimized hormones

Otherwise you can take stimulants which are bad for your health, addictive, and also stop working

What are some good resources/recipes for bb type meals

Expand full comment

Bodybuilding meals are simple and boring:

1) Lean protein 2) potato or rice 3) vegetable

If you want "tasty" meals that are high in protein/low in fat all the time you better be okay with spending 2-3 hours cooking every day + realize that many of the ingredients you'll have to use aren't healthy for you and will impact mood, energy, and vitality long term. These should fall under the "healthy cheat meal" category and not be eaten daily. Plus, needing everything to be tasty means your dopamine is fried to a certain extent and you're in need of a fast :D. I don't have many recommendations for these types of recipes in specific, but you can find a ton on google.

Would 20 sets per muscle per week be too much for a natural lifter who has a low stress life and works remote?

Expand full comment

Id keep it to 10 sets per muscle per workout

So if you train the same muscle twice per week that's totally fine

Thanks in advance. I've seen you and a lot of other people I respect recommend L-Citrulline - however I saw a post from @LandsharkRides on twitter that was concerning to me (he is private account so I'll quote in addition to link). Do you think his point has any validity or is he wrong and why?

"...I am doing my duty for the evolutionary destiny of the human race by reminding you that Nitric Oxide is a free radical directly doing DNA damage so if you use Tadalafil, Cialis, anything starting with "L-" your kids are going to come out 20 IQ down

Anything similar to Nitroglycerin that causes vasodilation, gives you erections, pumps, etc. basically does the equivalent of beating your blood vessels up until they are no longer able to contract and is the equivalent of hiring a Turkish man to WWE chair you for a better sleep.

Landshark

Theanine is a good anti-serotonic thing and Glycine is good too, I'm talking about the preworkout ones dw"

Expand full comment

When tadalafil inhibits PDE5, it enhances the effects of NO by preventing the breakdown of cGMP, leading to blood vessel relaxation and improved blood flow.

And yes while NO is a free radical, balanced production of NO in the body (as stimulated by tadalafil) is beneficial, not harmful

In fact it usually reduces oxidative stress because of the protective effect on endothelial function and reduced inflammation

Oxidative stress = imbalance of free radicals and antioxidants

Free radicals are not inherently bad and neither is serotonin. Sorry, it's way more nuanced than that

5mg daily tadalafil is life extending
