I spoke to you recently about dealing with some possible burnout from working at my laptop too much over the past 12 months.

For the benefit of everyone else my main issues are impaired executive function, excessive rumination and I seem to get easily overwhelmed with anything other than pretty basic tasks.

After doing lots of research I’ve come to realise (like you said) that things could be much worse… I’m looking into rumination, cognitive behavioral therapy and restructuring how I work and making sure I get enough breaks with sunlight throughout the day is a big one.

On 4th day of AM cardio feeling good. Trying to find the right balance so I can still do resistance exercises most days.. And diet (cronometer) and sleep hygiene is spot on.

I stopped taking all nootropics for the past 2 weeks to give myself a break from them. I was struggling to get the dose lately. Either didn’t feel anything or made me feel worse.

But over the past 3 days I’ve been taking 40-60mg bromantane with 15mg of 9-ME-BC which I feel great on.

My question is are there any nootropics or supplement that you recommend I stay away from as they might hinder my recovery…

And is there any noots/supplements/pharma that you recommend I take that will help speed it up? Thinking subQ semax/selank combo or cerebralysin maybe.

Appreciate all your help with this BTB!

I'd definitely stay away from the sun on 9-ME-BC, but sun is also essential for recovery. So i wouldn't stay on that stuff too long. Semax/selank or cere could be great additions since it seems like the diet and training is on point!

If I were to start experimenting with a Semax / Selank amidate blend, would there be any supplemental micronutrients you would recommend be in surplus for the brain to have everything it needs to make bdnf and all the other good stuff go brrrrrrrr

Thiamine, CDP choline, maybe a little P5P & L Tyrosine and OF COURSE cover your micros thru diet and get dat sweet sweet sunlight and daily cardio for exponentially higher BDNF returns

Understood, last 2 weeks I've been told to keep cardio up so more zone - 2 it is.

What is the best/safest way in terms of lowest short and long term side effects to start with PED?

I ve been natty whole life 28yo, mostly focusing on longevity but lifting heavy for years and would love to up my T/DHT to the levels when I was 18 and also boost my physique.

Currently 680 total, free 115, BF 10.5% and still going down.

I am totally new in this topic, so I apologize if the question is not asked properly, but I plan to have kids in 1-2 years and dont want to risk anything in this area.

Thanks a lot BTB.

Maybe hCG monotherapy bro. Will increase fertility and often times can get total T as high as 1500. This one's definitely a dr supervision type of thing as estrogen management is a pain & it requires frequent bloodwork.

Otherwise I'd just say run some good ol testosterone with hcg and your fertility will probably still be great. Only risk is doing things on your own and making mistakes / having a bad doctor imo

If you want 0 risk just stay natty for a few yrs bro :)

Just a follow up Q. Thank you for the above answer by the way, appreciate that.

Is MK-677 considered safer than those you mentioned above or its PED as well?

I need to boost my collagen production as much as possible, I suffer from some form of connective tissue disorder which has caused all sorts of problems for me. I am planning on starting BPC-157 and GHK-CU soon. I am already taking collagen and a good Liposomal vitamin c. I eat 1.5 g of protein per lb every day. Do you have any other suggestions? Thank you!!

Injectable GHK? Makes a huge difference!

Protein is good, aim for slight surplus. If your e2 is low then increasing it would help.

HGH or the secretogogue peptides couldn't hurt either.

Oh, I'd add some gelatin to your collagen shakes as well. Just throw in an unflavored packet.

Yes injectable ghk! Thank you for the advice. Do you have any suggestion for how long and how often to run those peptides? This is going to be a lifelong issue for me

Think you’ve written before that if Tribugen doesn’t have much effect it’s likely due to a broken dopaminergic system.

Makes me calmer than usual (probably GABA effect of 3a-andro) but don’t notice increased drive, motivation, aggression/confidence etc which was what I was looking for.

What would you suggest to pinpoint the reason for this and how to “fix”? Not sure if it needs to be taken over longer time to feel effects (been using about 2 weeks)

Have you tried 4 caps? Agree you likely aren't sensitive to dopamine if you don't feel the vitexin/isovitexin. Have you tried dopamine fasting? Cutting out pr reducing other stims

Expand full comment

I have not tried 4 caps. Have not even tried 3 tbh.

I did do a modified dopamine fast recently. But it’s interesting because Notable works for me and contains Sabroxy ofc

I’m also using Bromantane atm to repair dopaminergic system as I suspect it’s damaged anyway

On a 72h fast do you recommend training or resting? I'm doing 3 x 72 hour fasts over the next 2 weeks to lose the last bit of fat (roughly around 13%, can see abs)

I'll train on the first day but thats it. Every other day of the fast is just lots of walking and a little zone 2

I have seen follastatin gene therapy treatments for $25K for an injection that lasts for 2 years. Is there a way to get the same effect at a lower price by buying and injecting the follastatin-344 peptide itself?

Expand full comment
author

I'm not convinced they actually work since I've never seen results from the follastatin peptide itself, neither has anyone on the forums. I know what professional bodyboduilders are taking, and none of them are on follistatin. There's something sketchy going on with the follistatin gene therapy ads, and I believe the before and after photos are the results of steroids + diet and training

Thank you. Good to have a second opinion on it

Hello, what are your thoughts on doing weights in a fasted state? I do intermittent fasting 6-12 and like to workout in the morning. The earliest meal that I have will be at noon and my goal is cutting rn

Performance might dip a little bit initially, but you'll get used to it. Not a bad thing as long as you're still getting sufficient protein thorughout the day.

What do you think about using red and blue light therapy to help increase facial hair growth? Have read a lot of anecdotal reports on reddit of it working. I'm also using a GHK-cu serum with derma rolling, and oral castor oil. Have already seen bunch of new growth on bald spots on my face with the ghk already.

Sunlight is unmatched, just go with that. The bulk of the magic will come from derma, GHK and castor. You can also see about getting some Bimatoprost from a doc because that will double gains.

Has probably been on here before but what is protocol for injecting L-Carnitine? Dose, gauge on pins, best injection site, etc?

Expand full comment

Insulin needles do the trick just fine, least scar tissue formation and easy. 600mg eod intramuscularly seems to be the minimum dose where tangible results are seen. I prefer 900mg eod. can go daily too for diminishing returns. I prefer intrmuscular because that's way too much volume to go into the fat, unless you like having painful lumps all the time. be mindful of thyroid issues. seems like l-carnitine at these high doses can eventually block thyroid hormones effects at the thyroid receptors, so probably not something you wanna do for more than 8-12 weeks before taking an equal time off. just my .02

that's 2 questions ser.

1) yes i'd say GHK or Bimatoprost

2) depends on you as an individual, because we all have different brain chemistry, but typically: sabroxy, 4'dma, tribugen, kanna, and dynamax will do 90% of people good

Is there any benefit to cycling caffeine? Morning coffee one week, off week, repeat?

Yes 100% it makes it infinitely more effective. I'd say it's better to do on 3 days off 4 days per week.

Sleep quality is much worse after moderately intensive gym or cardio (2-3 sets of heavy squats for example, or running more than 8km or so). Waking up 2-3 times in the middle of the night, moved a lot during sleep, and woke up feeling unrefreshed and full day of brain fog.

What could be the reason and how may I improve this?

Expand full comment
author

You need to

1) Deload for a week or 2

2) Get an all day cortisol test, make sure your morning levels aren't too low and night levels aren't too high (do this on high intensity day)

3) Lower intensity in the gym, keep HIT to maybe 2-3 days a week

This is the sad part about getting older. High intensity training = brain fog. What I do to combat this is semax/selank. The BDNF increase offsets the CNS fatigue big time.

You also wanna make sure calcium/magnesium are balanced in 1:1 ratio at least, glycine, taurine, and inositol supplementation help, and not use stimulants daily (requires being extra tired for a few weeks to get to a point where you're better)

More zone 2 and more low weight high rep training :)
