Uncle UM, I was using DHTE 8 mg 3x per week and I felt the anxiolytic effects for a while, but then I started to feel low E2 symptoms like low libido and worse mood. What should I do? Use an exogenous source of E2?

Get bloodwork neph. You probably suppressed your T hence the low e2, which is then made to feel like even lower E2 due to DHT's inhibition of ER transcription.

Good news is you're sensitive to DHT E and not metabolizing it rapidly. Some people take 6.25mg (roughly) every 3 days. If I was in that situation, i'd skip shots for a week and try that. i wouldn't introduce e2 because then you'd really have no T since e2 is suppressive haha.

I already tried lowering the dose to 4 mg 3x per week, but I didn’t feel the anxiolytic effects.

(I forgot to mention that I’m on TRT, my levels are around 1000.)

You mentioned on X that coming off reta makes you extra fat - what is your recommendation? Don't take it? Don't stop taking it? Something else?

The right answer is "don't drink". But assuming it's happening, what is your recommended protocol / timeline for supplementation to mitigate the downsides? That is, before, during and after along with delivery method.

Thanks for great content as always.

Tons of nutritious food, magnesium, and sodium beforehand. 1-2mg oral BPC before and after. DHM before and during. NAC, r-ALA, melatonin, and tons of electrolytes after.

But don't drink.

Also, Magnesium Acetyl Taurate at 1.6g (100mg of elemental) and 400mg elemental mg from Chloride, with a gram of ltheanine and 3g taurine, the next morning with maybe some magnolia bark is the best way to deal with hangxiety.

what up bio - quick q for me this week, I know Grim doesn't like test cyp - what is reasoning we prefer others - is it just b/c 70% test by molar mass? Marek seems to prefer it but they have a blend of Test P & Test Cyp - hadn't heard of that.

Do any EMF blocking products actually work? I’m mainly referring to cell phone products (other than a faraday bag) or some sort of sheet for the wall behind the bed

Glucose running high, fasting between 95-120. Lactate is under control. Lower carb 75-100g.

Testing different b vitamins, nothing working yet.

Anywhere else to look?

Hi UM, would love to know what recommendations you would have to tackle impaired metabolic health, cognitive decline, weight gain, brain deoxygenation, and worsened hormonal health and lung capacity caused by sleep apnea over the last 2 years?

The CPAP machine helps but not enough, and still feel incredibly sluggish and unable to perform at school. I’m still only 21 so definitely want to overcome this challenge.

I’ve made lifestyle changes over the past couple months, and have gone down from 48% BF to 38% BF ( via DEXA scan).

My current protocol is as follows:

- Good circadian protocol (sunrise, midday, and sunset viewing, and blue light blockers post-sunset)

- EMF mitigation

- Keto diet (30G carbs/day Max)

- Lift 4x/week + daily walk

- 5mg Tirz weekly

- Daily supplementation:

10g Creatine, 3g taurine, and ThiActive B complex, 5G L glutamine, 50mg Elemental Mag upon waking

500mg metformin, 10,000 IU Vit D, and 1500mg Omega 3 post Meal

2g L carnitine pre lift

400mg Elemental Mag, 400mg L theanine, 3g Taurine, 8g inositol, 1600mg NAC, and 1 probiotic capsule at night.

Please do let me know where you think I’m misstepping, and what you think I can do to accelerate my journey in overcoming sleep apnea

Are we going to see another Day in the Life article? I found the one you posted about a year ago quite insightful but you did say it will drastically change by summer/depending on goals.

Imagine you’re 23. BF = ~12% (abs present). Total T = 550, E2 (not sensitive) = 30, DHT = 33. Circadians locked. Diet and training also in check. Would you do a small cycle of DHTE (and other consequently necessary hormones)? Would the brain + up regulation + physique effects be worth it to you?

Is there a reasonable use case for a Test+Mast+Primo stack? I've seen this blend out there and was very curious about the thoughts behind it. I understand the basics behind bolting on Mast or Primo. Why all 3?

*You're doing great work, BTW. Can't thank you enough. I'll hang up and listen.

UM, thanks for all the advice you provide on here. As I gear up for the colder months and prepare for less UVA/UVB (I am a Fitzpatrick 3-4-- living in the NE and still do not have a UVA/UVB device), what do you think of the following protocols to prop up mitochondrial function during the winter months:

1. Red Light Therapy with Inferno and still getting outside as much as possible

2. HIIT -- once a week

3. Grounding/grounding sheets

4. minimizing blue light and using blue light blockers

5. supplementing PQQ/COQ10 and NAD+

On X couple years back you put weekly injectable NAD+ on the celebrity anti aging stack.

Recently a healthfluencer pretty well known and respected on X say he wouldn’t rec consistent injectable NAD+/only when needed.

What would a good schedule be for a healthy lab rat?

Because it is what they're taking! It wasn't an endorsement :P we wouldn't be taking injectable NAD+ without a use case, either. what are you trying to achieve?
