This ones for everyone that can’t get rid of that lower belly fat no matter how hard they diet and how much weight they lose.

I feel your pain. There’s that one spot that, no matter how much you seem to suffer, it won’t budge.

Yet, if you even so much as look at food, you’ll put on a ton of fat in that area.

You were lied to for years, told that spot reduction isn’t possible. Every fitness trainer and nutritionist that does things “by the books” was trained to tell you to just diet harder and do more cardio.

WRONG!

Bro scientists have said this for years, and were mocked the entire time by people who didn’t have a 6pack. The mechanism is simple.

Not all fat is created equal

Some fat is ONLY going to respond to certain levers: insulin, growth hormone, a2 adrenic sigaling, estradiol, cortisol, androgens, blood flow, mitochondrial output, hormone sensitive lipase (HSL), etc.

But don’t worry, the above has been translated into plain left curve English. A plug and play formula to lose fat from desired areas whether it’s your face, chest, lower abs, love handles, hips, or that visceral fat that’s shortening your life span, we got you covered!

We’ll go over the 2023 study that actually studied spot reduction properly, then dive into the various other causes of stubborn fat and how to hack them by leveraging simple biochemistry.

The Study That Actually Controlled Calories Burned

In 2023, Brobakken and colleagues published a randomized controlled trial in Physiological Reports that matched total energy expenditure between interventions while testing whether local abdominal work changed where fat came from (Brobakken et al., 2023; PMID 38010201).
